The Dagh

Our Story

The House

The Dagh was not created from a business plan

It grew from a life already being lived — from a decision to leave the city, a piece of land, a stone house built with care, friendships gathered around a table, a dream carried for years and a conversation over a glass of wine.

The house came first.
The name came later.

At the heart of it all was a simple realisation:
Sometimes what we need is not another method, another teacher or another answer.
Sometimes what we need is a place.

And slowly, what had once been a private place of happiness and refuge opened its doors to become a mountain house for meaningful gatherings.
This is how The Dagh began.

Gathering at The Dagh Detail Shot

We Gather Because We Belong

Long before we built cities, we gathered.
Around fire.
Around food.
Around stories.
Around grief.
Around celebration.
We still do.

Sometimes we gather around a table.
Sometimes around a fire.
Sometimes through movement, conversation or silence.
We are social beings. Something in us settles in the presence of others. We heal through being witnessed. We grow through relationship.

Sometimes we hold one another.
Sometimes we are held.
Sometimes nothing needs to be said.
Presence is enough.

We do not gather because we are incomplete.
We gather because this is how human beings have always shared life, carried one another and remembered who they are.
The Dagh was this place for us before it was anything else.

Then, slowly, we began setting more places at the table.
